Dorson Home Care, Inc. was founded in 1988 and since then has been providing home health care services for residents throughout the area. The agency, along with its newly establish Dorson Baby Care sect, which provides in-home care and baby support just after childbirth, is located in East Orange, New Jersey and has branched out to other locations in Springfield, New Jersey and Atlanta, Georgia.

In 1992, Dorson Community Foundation was created -- a community based program for inner city youth and teens where such programs as Saturday Business and Computer classes, SAT prep courses and professional dance classes for kids and adults are held.

Just recently in 2004, Dorson Vocational Training Institute, specializing in training for the healthcare industry, was created offering programs in such areas as Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Home Health Aid, Medical Billing, English as a Second Language (ESL), and many countless others.
